cleaning carburators??
new to the biking world as of a few days ago. i bought a 92 fzr 600, and it sounds like the carbs need to be cleaned. the bike has been sitting for two years. i wanted to find out how much u guys think it would cost to take my bike up to a shop and have the carburators cleaned. ur input is greatly appreciated.

Why not just do it yourself? Just grab some carb cleaner and go to town. If that doesn't get it running, I would then advise you to take it to a shop.
Make sure if there is any gas in it right now to drain ALL of that.

after draing the gas take the tank off put some new gas in, just a little, and swish the gas around to get all the remaining **** in your tank out. I had to do it a couple times when I got my first bike which had been sitting for a lil over a year.
