Default Trailing Arm Bushing Replacement

I read through all the archived threads about this, but no one mentioned if it's possible to get the bushing in without using a press? I know I did bushing replacement on my control arms without a press, just banged them in. Is this possible with the trailing too?

no, they are really in there, when i had mine on the 20 ton press it took a while before BANG they popped out, i dont see this coming out easy or going in easy, i used the tool from honda to press it out and back in, also if you are lowered dont forget to re-align your bushing so it is straight and not twisted at all when lowered this way it wont go bad as quick

i used a sledge hammer to get them out and in. it was for my beater car so i didn't care if it wasn't perfect.

Are we talking about replacing it with an Energy Suspension bushing? If so, you don't press out the old sleeve. You just burn out the old rubber.
