After ls/vtec swap in crx, idle, power delivery issues. What do you think.
I just swapped a ls/vtec in my 89 si crx. I am running obd-0 and the car idles like ****, and power delivery is weak and uneven. It turns new spark plugs black in like 60 sec. and the car still idles when a shop rag is stuck in the throttle body. I know the rag thing is indicating a vacuum leak but what about the extreme rich condition. The car runs better w/ the stock crx si ecu than the jdm pw0. I did not install the hasport vtec sub harness yet but the car should run w/o. Tell me what you think I have a b16 head stcok on a usdm type r piston ls block. I have an endyn breather and I eliminated the evap system. What do you think.
ok i'll start. I 'm gonna start w/ a new cap and rotor thenlook for a vacuum leak from the intake manifold back.
