How do I remove the door pin that prevents the door from swinging open too wide? Looks like it could be slid out with pliers but when I attempted at it, it didn't budge. I need to run wires from the door to the cabin through the grommets.

 

There's a lot of pressure on that lil pin. Tap it out from the bottom with a hammer. It will slide right out.

 

If the doors are still on the car then put a towel on a jack and jack up the door a little to releave the pressure and have at it.

 

Hit an extension with a hammer upwards on the pin. Or you could just hit the pin it will come right out.

 

Ok, I'll try hitting at it with a hammer when I attempt at it tomorrow. Thanks guys.

No, it uninstall it. I need to swing my door wider so I can get to the grommets.
