Default i can get a cheap hatch, but hit in front, crushed shock tower...question inside

car is stripped, everything has been sold off it interior wise, only has a drivers seat. car still has wiring, taillights, headlights no suspension. just a body and wheels. has a crushed in front shock tower like i was saying, is this fixable at all? and would it be safe to drive as long as it was fixed well? i can get this car for a steal, but i want to know just how much trouble fixing a crushed front strut tower would be. please help me out on this, i can't weld, but a friend of mine can, so welding shouldn't be that big of a deal, i just don't know if it's worth me trying to do. the idea of the car is appealing to me, cuz i want a stripped out hatch just to put a motor in and drive around on the street, and maybe every now and then race at the strip. aim name is rollindelsol if you want to holler at me there, or send me a PM on here. thank you.

I'd make somebody pay me for a car like that.

A.) you need all the suspension - which won't be cheap - and you won't be able to drive the car until you have it put together and aligned (Probably $800+).

B.) you won't be able to fix the shock tower/front end damage without having a shop do it. It'll be well over $1500 to fix, thus making the car a huge pain in the pocketbook to get back on the road.

C.) no interior.

D.) no engine.

E.) needs a paint job to be presentable.

This is a bad deal. Don't do it.

i wouldn't bother, if its a shell you want, then look for a good one.

only prob is a good shell would cost me 5-7 times what this one costs. here, and i'm sure everywhere else, hatchbacks are hard to find for a good deal, if found at all for sale.

I can sell you an empty shoe box for even less. However, it would probably cost you as much to get it on the road.

Don't do it. You will have to put so much time and money into it to make it work.

its too far gone, I picked up a super clean hatch with minor damage and it is almost done....but a shock tower is way too much...

My project https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1630252

Unless its free and you know someone with a frame machine. Little warning your looking at just over $500 plus alone in sheet metal no labor.

would it be worth 100bux to undergo this project? keep in mind, i already have 3 vehicles, and this would just be a long term fun project that i don't care if it takes me 3 yrs to get it ready to drive.

its fixable but the costs of doing that and the trouble when im sure you could buy just a shell with interior for a price somewhat simaliar .
