Default Thinking about another brake upgrade...

I got full gsr discs on my hatchie right now, teg RS BB and 15/16ths MC with 4040 prop valve. I was thinking about doing NSX calipers in the front with Legend GS rotors and RSX calipers in the rear with EP3 rotors and stainless lines. What type of modifications would have to be done to the caliper brackets or rotors to get this to work right?

Wow, that sounds like an insane amount of work. But if you do it, let me know I want the GSR breaks.

Well it would only be a caliper swap, I read about it in honda-tuning I think, some kid with a black supercharged single cam EK had that setup, and I am tempted to try searching him down and asking him about it.

The '89 legend MC and brake booster fits as well with some modification; the ALB MC being 1" rather than 15/16 and the brake booster is much stronger.

I could also use the ITR BB and MC as well couldnt I? I am mostly concerned with the pedal feel, since the NSX has a 1 3/16" MC if I am not mistaken, will that 3/16" make a huge difference in how responsive the brakes are?

Yes it makes a HUGE difference. I was running my 4 front ITR calipers on the stock 13/16" civic MC and you could tell it lacked enough volume to comfortably actuate the calipers. The pedal nearly hit the floor before I got proper brake response; once I bumped it up to 1" the brakes engaged almost immediately.

So in this case it is the total caliper piston volume (tcpv) that makes the difference - the lower the MC volume in comparison to tcpv, the further the pedal must travel to displace that volume. If the Ep3 rear calipers are lower in volume than the NSX's you should be alright with ITR BB and MC. Thats my $0.02

That right there is EXACTLY what I was thinking about, but I didnt know how to explain. Beautiful my man, now I just wanna source these parts out, I am actually speaking with the inspiration for this project via PM and hopefully he can give me some insight to what I am in store for, thanks for all your help, and keep up the sick work on your Sol, I've been watching progress
