Default Just sold my F4i, tear

Well, i just sold my F4i last night to a really nice guy. It was an 03, with quite a few goodies on it, and 11k miles. I sold it for 5800. The guy was originally going to pay 6000, but blew a head gasket on his car. He ended up being able to borrow some more money, and i started getting desperate to sell before i left school, so we settled for 5800. I've been lusting over v-twins since last year, so we'll see what happens in the next week or so.
All other bikes i ride will forever be compared to the F4i, whether it's good or bad. She was a good bike.

Congrats on the sale! Don't blow all your money on cheap beer and hookers.

Well, at least not the beer...

I wanted to try a v-twin sport bike. So we'll see how that goes.

I use to have an F4i. Great bike but when you jump on a 06 R6 it's make you realize thats it's just a good all around bike. The only thing the F4i was better than the R6 it's maybe comfort and it's not that bad.

I'd rather drop an f4i than a new r6

That's why I bought an F4i for my first bike. And I don't regret it at all.

I would recommend it to anyone

Well, i never had the stock seat on it, but i liked the corbin. It was great for long hauls and what have you, but kinda sucked for aggressive riding. If you're wearing leather, the seat sticks to your *** and makes it hard to slide off. Also, it was great for sitting on, terrible for standing over. It kinda cut off the circulation to my thighs when i would be standing over it.
But, if you're feeling like your bike is uncomfortalbe, i think a corbin would fix that.

i will never ride a hardley, or a buell for that matter. They're way over priced, and i don't trust them.
