I would just tape it before I sprayed anything on my paint. Tape won't hurt anything.

Thats a cool product if it actually works. Duplicolor is a reputable company, im sure they wouldnt sell something that could potentially damage your paint... spray it on a friends car first and see how easily it washes off

Star Shield Armor also has one called Debris Shield, except you just brush it on. Dries clear in a little time. Works great.

i'm driving from Indiana PA to lansing MI, it's 400 miles each way. i'm just going home to visit friends and family for the memorial day weekend. i don't really want to drive around the whole weekend with blue tape on my front end.

But you'd go and spray this stuff on? I would just go with the blue tape and if you don't like it take it off and rock the tape back home....2-3 cans of this stuff 8+ dollas a can....or a roll of tape that'll last both ways...for about 5-6 dollas.....

ok, so $8 for a can that will last both trips, or $6 for a roll of tape and drive around with a blue taped front bumper all weekend.

hey, if you can get the front end covered once with one can...then there is your savings.......it's your car do what you like......

id use that over the blue tape anyday if it washes off with no residue. the blue tape leaves crap if left on too long. i think that stuff looks great i will definatly try it.

Do NOT tape your freakin front-end.

Have you seen what happens to a cars finish when the sun bakes the adhesive backing into the paint?

Duplicolor's shield works great from what I hear. We've been selling it for a few weeks at work and I've had a lot of customers tell me it works exactly as advertised.
