how far will it make it? what's the condition of the motor/transmission?

 

I haven't driven it in a while. I work tonight, but in the morning I'll replace the battery and take it for a spin and give you mt honest opinion.

motor and tranny have 150XXX miles.

 

let me know how it does, can you roll it out of the garage and take mare pics of the body!

how bad is the rust?

i have a ls swap that might like to be in that body.

 

There is minor SURFACE rust in a few places...when I say surface it's exactly that surface. The only part on the car that HAD rust was where the rear bumper meets the body at the wheel well. The rust has been removed and the bondo needs to be finished. Don't be fooled though, this is a project car and the $450.00 price reflects that. I just niticed that on this thread I didn't mention that it needs a windshield and driver's side door glass....still for $450.00....

Trades? Sure. I'm looking for B turbo parts....as for making it back to St pete...not sure. I really haven't driven the car in a long time. I've had a few questions about that so I guess I need to check! I would do a tune up before going that far(plugs etc)...Bring a tow rope just in case.
