my friends car is a 98 civic lx

the door locks don't work, the problem is, that when you hit the switch up or down, nothing happens, but you can still do it manually,
the key on the drivers side will lock and unlock the door, but it will not lock all the doors
(i haven't taken anything apart yet)
how do I fix this?

u gotta start by tracing the problem. Check your fuses first, then the lock controller thats in the driver side door could be to blame too, they're about 60-100 for a new one.
