Default wont go into boost? **FI forum no help!**

Alright, so I finally got my car running, but now im having another problem. The car idles around 1,000-1,200 rpm (I know its a lil rich). It runs fine from 1,500rpm to about 3,500 in each gear, but when I try to go any higher, it almost "cuts out" and the car bucks real real hard and no matter how hard I hit the gas pedal, I cant get it past 3,500rpm. It'll boost about 1-2psi, since boost kicks in around 3k. Also, after driving for abit, my temps go ridiculously high - almost off the chart. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

the setup:
gt28r turbo internally wastegated @ 7psi
d16y8 (p2p)
innovate motorsports lc-1 wideband
chipped p28 with uberdata
390cc dsm injectors

the map:

Heres the map currently on the car (need uberdata)

http://www.socaltuners.com/con...3.bin

thanks for any help

You might be way to lean past 3500rpm. What AFRs are you getting at normal cruising?

hi, i just wandered into the civic section, but i had a similar problem, i couldn't get the car over 3-4k rpm's, it would just stay there, i don't think it has to do with with boost, for me i took off the two wire clips that are by the throttle body and intake manifold and switched them by accident, they both had the same size plug and fit into the other clips, once i found out they were backwards, it fixed the problem- hope that helps

Set your goal for 14.7. 15.8 is really ******* lean.

**UPDATE**

its going into limp mode because of CEL #16, fuel injectors, basically the car knows the injectors arent right. Its obd2 converted to obd1 with a chipped p28 running uber, any ideas on how to fix this? ive double tripple checked the wiring and have a resistor box in place...

No I have the same setup as far as going obd2-obd1 running 450s with no problem. Did you change the injectors on uberdata from 240 to 390? Or your wiring is wrong somehow check them again.

yeah, the injectors are changed via uberdata, unless there is something else I need to mark off, im not sure if running in closed loop / open loop would have an affect. So then if not uber, the only other possibility is the wiring? Can the resistor pack be from obd0? does it matter? <-- doesnt think so...

No resistor box shouldnt matter, I have the same one. Also open loop and closed loop will not cause that problem either. Make sure you have the right injector plugs on the right cylinder.

**EDIT > wouldnt it not turn over if the plugs were in the wrong order? Thats the initial problem I had when it wouldnt turn over, but crank**

cyl#2=red
cyl#3=blue
cyl#4=yellow

It will turn over and might start but will idle like crap and run like crap.

just double checked it, and its got the right order.

1) the plugs are off a 90-93 integra, as long as they fit on the injector its fine right?

2) the primary 02 wouldnt cause the cel16 would it?

Just double checked the only option to run uber on a p28 that you need checked off is to disable the knock sensor. So leave the injector test unchecked.

try switching over to 240cc injectors, the 390s might be bad. Just a thought.

Sounds like you might have bad injectors (as stated above). good luck.

You guys might be doing something wrong in the install, since so many have this setup with out a prob. Try switching to crome if you need a basemap let me know.
