What fittings to use to attach vacuum lines to intake manifold?
I'm dropping in a new motor in my SOHC w/ greddy kit, and I'm wanting to attach all my vacuum lines for boost gauge, bov, etc, directly to my intake manifold. Like a GE vac manifold, but built into intake mani. What is the best method to do this?
I know drilling and tapping, and using hose barbs would work, and be the simplest.. But I don't like how they look, and I don't like the idea of that many small hose clamps.
Any ideas?

Christ man, read my freaking post...

well if you have time to blow, take off the intake manifold and drill and tap the holes on the bottom side, then run the vaccuum lines to that point. It would be basically the same as a GE Vaccuum manifold except built into your manifold....that would be the cleanest way to do it, but definately the most time consuming!
Okay, nobody seems to understand what I'm saying.
I will have the motor out, and intake manifold off. I am planning on drilling and tapping the intake manifold for vac lines.
But I don't want hose barb fittings coming off the back of my intake manifold, because I don't like how they look with hose clamps, and I want something secure.

oMFgrscrappoola! not good enough! must meet NASA requirements and withstand a 10 megaton nuclear yield and a bunch classroom full of 8 year olds. but must match my beige trim on my velvet liner.
seriously dude, barb hose fittings work fine for this purpose. anything else is overkill or ****. but if you must, you can use hydraulic hose fittings,
or search for "Glass-Filled Nylon Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) Fittings" on page 155 of the http://www.mcmaster.com
i hope that meets your approval
