Default f22a1 5 speed slow acceleration

Right to the point, kinda hard to explain.

When i accelerate, most of the time its fairly quick through the first couple of gears, no stumbling or anything.

However, sometimes when i shift from first to second the car just wont go. i take it to 4k in first and when i hit second, i hit the gas, and it just sits there and barely accelerates at all. It takes about 4 seconds to go from 1500 rpm - 2500 rpm.

thats a pretty long time for second gear to go 1000 rpms.

This isnt everytime that it does it, but its gets real annoying, especially if im pulling into traffic and need to get moving.

im not sure what is causing this problem and it happens mostly in second gear, but occasionally in 3rd.

the car does burn a little oil between shifts, if that helps anything.

also, when i push the clutch in the rpms jump up about 500 rpms and then slowly falls to zero. (if that helps diagnose anything)

car info:

1993 accord lx, f22a1 5 speed
intake is only mod.

full tune up, but dizzy cap rotor and spark plug wires are the advance cheapos

valves are adjusted properly.

new fuel filter.

if you need anymore info just ask

for the most part yes.

its annoying that the revs jump up alot when i push the clutch in to shift.

sometimes i cant get it into first gear at a stop without rolling the car back a little or revving it up a tad.

when im coasting to a stop in gear 3rd or 2nd the car "jumps" a bit, or i guess lurches

Set your clutch pedal height right? I dunno sounds like it could be the clutch since you say it happens when you depress the pedal.

the clutch pedal is pretty high off the floor, but it lets out right near the top.

i dunno if it has something to do with the clutch or not.

i just really need to get this fixed, before i pull out in traffic and my car wont accelerate and i get hit
