THROTTLE PROBLEMS

Default THROTTLE PROBLEMS

I just finished my gsr swap into my 98 ek never want to do that again neways the problem im having the car idles fine starts but when you go to give it gas it acts like it is bouncing off of rev limiter??? also on the iavc plug if any one knows what wires i need to connect from the ek harness to fix the plug from the gsr that would be great!

i have done a few swaps and all of the plugs pretty much reach to where they should go. The intake ones are alittle tricky sometimes, i am not there so i cant help much other than just say do trial and error with them. Other than that i think the only wires you will have to worry about is the knock sensor and maybe lengthen the 02. the Vtec wires should be there if its from an EX. Just look at the harness and compare it to your old motor to see what sensors the plugs to to. you may have to lengthen various plugs. i have not done an EX to GSR, ive done LS to GSR, and DX to GSR many times.
as for the idle throttle thing, i would assume its because everything is not plugged in. you may not have the throttle position sensor plugged in or something (just a guess). its hard to help with **** like that unless i am there. good luck
