I was goin by My boys Honda shop the other day and i noticed an accord in the parking lot. I saw that it had the sliding seat belts, and i knew i dont have that. When i went to the back of the car it said SE? when did honda make that line. Are they a limited edition ore something. Someone give me some feedback on what is the diffference between the SE, and the EX.

 

They've had the SE since the 3rd gens. Differences varied depending on the generation

 

If you say sliding seat belts you must be talking 4th gen right? You mean the power ones. The SE is basically an LX with a sunroof thrown in.

 

No no no. SE i believe is an EX model thats loaded with little cool things that you cant get in any other trim. Like leather interior. There werent many of those made in 3rd or 4th gen, but they are out there. Honda still makes that trim.
SE= Special Edition. Like I said its just a little more luxurious inside, thats all.

Maybe for the older gens, but for the newer gens it is lower than an EX on the trim scale. BUT I just saw a 93 and it had leather etc. so you are right.

 

Thankx, i didn't think special edition, duh. Anyways i noticed that it had the leather interior, the sliding harness(which I want so bad), sunroof, and foglights. And they also had a button that i noticed for the power antenna, under the arm rest.
