Default head gasket install..

so my head gasket blew a couple days ago... and now its too bad to drive.. my question is.. do i HAVE to get the head machined before i put it back on? does the head always warp? just wondering because i dont have time to get it machined. and i tried searching but i cant find a head gasket installation. i need to know the torque specifications for the head bolts.

They dont always warp unless your car was constantly overheating. My suggestion to you is to have it checked out anyway. You already have it apart so it will be that much easier. Do it right the first time so that you dont have to go back and do it again.
