Default p28 or p72 on turbo b16

im turboing my rex in like... 3 weeks so im trying to get my **** together. i have and obd1 dizzy and my jumper is on the way. im switching from obd0 to obd1 and i want to know what ecu is best to use. people in town tell me to go with a p28 but i figured since it would be chipped, it doesnt matter as long as its an obd1 ecu. am i wrong? Will either work and if any obd1 ecu will work, what other options do i have?

Here's what I have to say I don't know if its worth anything. The p28 is cheaper than the p72 but with either one you have to chip it for the setup your using. and the p28 can have the same chip as the gsr so might as well go for the cheaper one right? Here in sac there's a guy who offers p28 obd1 ecu's chipped with any program u want for $150. You can getta p28 for pretty cheap. I've seen em for $60 here in tha 916. Of course people like you and I know what can be done with em then we jack up the price. You can tell if a racer is selling a p28 ecu becuzz he will say " I have a p28 ecu for sale" but a regular person will say "I have a 1992-1995 civic ex ecu for sale"
Regular joes don't know what we do with a p28 so the sell it for cheap.
Ya feel me?

A p30 ecu would be ideal because it's the obd1 b16 ecu from the del sols. You wouldn't have to get it chipped to run the stock b16 and then the you'd still be able to chip it for the turbo. But you can use an obd1 VTEC ecu not just any obd1 ecu at least if you want the vtec to work. So you're options really are p28, p30, and the p72. Go with whichever one is readily available/cheapest.
