Default starting problems

so i finished my "swap" on my sisters car, sohc zc with dpfi, i know its dumb, but i cant risk it not running trying to convert it and i had a spare zc lying there. anyways i take the battery off my crx, and start teh car, first try, it was awesome. again i put it back on my car, and go to start it for soccer practice and nothing. i try charging it and all it does is click wildly, the only way to start it is it bump start or jump start. i replaced teh negative cable, but still it wont start. what else can it be? it sucks, when it runs it wont even hold the charge, i turn on my brights and my stereo goes off, so on so forth. its really frustrating, you think i just need to replace the stock cables, or is it something worse like the alternator? thanks

Default Re: starting problems (hondazc89)

it sounds like the alternator. my crx did that when i had a 2,400 watt amp it blew the alternator. try taking it to autozone or advanced to have it checked.
