busted up head gasket? My D15B7 was in need of fresh coolant every 3 to 4 weeks, little over half a bottle. My head gasket was blown and was leaking into the exhaust.

1. Check your radiator see if its leaking
2. Check your hoses.
3. is it overheating?
4. Headgasket might be blown

drive your car around a bit.... get the coolant flowing, go back to your house.. pop the hood.. and feel all the lines follow the coolant houses, to make sure it's not cracked, split w/e.. even though they are pretty durable.. make sure not to touch the exhaust manifold ouch!

I HAVE THE SAME PROB! but i am topping up my bottle ever 5 trips!!! it only leaks when the car is cold though. I can see that the car is leaking from somewhere near the drive belt. But cant see where its actually leaking from because there is no way or seeing. I might try and get under the car. But some people were talking about a bearing or something, i have no idea. ANY ONE KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT?

Also make sure you don't have any oil mixed in with the coolant, drain the radiator and check the color. Pop your valve cover off and check for bubbles or coolant lying around. Could be the water pump.

Whatever you do, don't use that leak stopper ****, if it's a blown headgasket, that stuff will cake to the inside of your block and you'll be blowing blue smoke before no time.

Do you smell coolant when you take off?

Engine overheating?

Do you get hot heat from the blower still? Wet spots on your passenger floor?
