How to wire tuck?
does anyone know of a good write up with pictures of how to perform a full or minor wire tuck?
I have searched on here but have not found any how-to type of write ups

I don't understand what you need a write up for. As long as you know how to cut, strip, solder, and wrap wire you can do it with a little creativity. You think every wire tuck was done the exact same way?

It's not called a 'DIY project' for no reasons ya'know...
There's really no 'official' way to do it, you can do it in many ways, you just gotta think a bit about where to hide things, that's all.

I write up on how to de-pin the front headlight harnesses and split the wire harness open
I alread know how to rub the wires through the fender supports
and how to re-pin and the good spots to tuck the main harness
I understand all the soldering, cutting splicing and all that, I would like to do the least amount of it as possible so I still have the stock connections and not a half hacked wire harness even though I know it is totally unavoidable to not cut a few wires

kinda related to this...
In the wire tuck picture thread I saw a few had what looks like a + and - terminal coming out of the firewall with red and black colored caps where the battery is usually located. What are those? What purpose do they serve?
