Well, you might or might not recall me getting into an accident a couple weeks ago when someone cut me off and I hit a wall and guardrail. Apparently, we are too much of a liability for ALLSTATE, so our family needs to shop for some insurance.

Any suggestions? We'd been with allstate for close to 10 years now...

everytime i get a quote from geico, its some ridiculous figure, like 5,000 / 6 mos.

 

AAA they are the best in PA. I pay $800 a year for my R

anyway i got progressive and i have many citations and what not and mine is like 1800 a year.
so =170 a month . not too bad, but looking for better.

I'm planning to change carriers to Allstate but ... damn, dropping you because of one accident?

 

Anyone who has insurance questions ask away... Im more than willing to write you guys if you qualify... I will say that it helps to have all of your policys under 1 roof... but thats up to you guys to decide. Email or IM me if you want info

$800?!? This must be for just liability? With the amount of R's getting stolen I wouldn't dream of getting just liability.

 

I have CNA and paying $165 a month under my Parents.

 

State Farm is great if you're planning on staying with them. Their rates go down the longer you stay with them. Amica is also great (I have them), but I don't think they'll take you on with an accident on your record.

 

I forgot- also call Progressive. That's who I used back in Buff and they gave me the best deal at the time.

they didnt drop us because of this one accident which wasn't even my fault considering that i was cut off in the rain on a highway curve and hit a wall and guard rail.

anyway, that, my dad getting hit by someone who ran a stop sign and getting his old car totaled, and i guess a couple tickets 1 for me and 1 for my dad, i guess allstate had enough.

 

How'd you get dropped from Allstate?

I have totaled one Type-R and been in 4 other accidents, and my rates are only $300 ever 6 months with max coverage on everything.

I say tell Allstate to stick it though, insurance companies are dicks.

 

Progressive was the best rate I could find. 20/m/lots of points/safe area
