Default zc head fit on a d15

so ive been asking this question on other fourms and nobody seems to know. so hopefully you brilliant guys on ht can tell me.. will a sohc zc head fit on my d15b8(cx) ??? and if it will, will i get any significant power gains to suit me untill i get my swap?

umm search or keep asking, this one guy did it; its not impossible.

Maybe some one will have the link....

people on HT flamed him tho for the most part... but it was pretty cool that he did it.

IIRC the combustion chamber volume for the ZC combustion chamber volume is 43.80cc and the CC volume for the b8 is somewhere in the order of 39cc (extrapalated by the b8 and b7 using the same pistons (taken from here) and the b8 haveing a 9.1 cr vs the 9.2 of the b7 and calculated here)

The ZC head would, i think, flow better but i have no bench #'s to confirm that, but at the same time the larger CC volume will drop your compression ratio to somewhere in the order of 8.3:1, which is very low for making n/a power

...This is all assuming that it fits.
