I wonder if we can ever get another Porterfield groupbuy going on like we did last winter.

For the ATE fluid you can try Jon-E-Mac Motorsports. He's a local guy with a performance shop and ordered in some ATE SuperBlue and Type 200 for me last year. He's probably got some still. Give him a call: 1-888-JON-E-MAC

Does everyone think R4S Pads and ATE Super Blue are a good combo for a street driven car...Aggressive Street Driving and the Occassional Auto-X and Trackday in my Future? I've done my research and it seems like a good combo.

This is in a ~2000lb CX Hybrid. Stock Brakes (Front), GSR Brakes(Rear)

if you are gonna do heavy track days... I'd suggest having two sets of brake pads and rotors..
one for the race track (get the r-4 not the r-4s)
and one for the street (r-4s)

The R-4s will only hold up to light track use.. or about 1 day of heavy track

The R-4 however will last a lot longer, and work better for you, but they are a noisy and dirty on the street

if you use them on a heavy braking track.. you will eat your pads up in about 1 to 2 days of use

What I do is I have

Set 1: Rotors and R-4 for track
Set 2: Different set of rotors and r-4s for the street

If you're new to track, I suggest getting the R4S first. Break-em in before you get to the track though.

my exact setup. Very happy after a weekend @ VIR, but I think I'll get R4 for the front before I go back. Around the street they are the shizzle though. Very grabby compared to stock, not too noisy, just enough to sound cool and they do dust a little, but it's easy to wash dust, not that evil otherworld **** people get sometimes. The Rotas look better with a little dust anyway.
Oh and Geoff Mohler is the **** too. Porterfield forgot to ship my order, then forgot to include my RBF600 (which I did not use) Jeff got it all sorted out in quick fashion and there was much rejoicing (yeay)
