Default Noobie on the loose!

Noob on the loose, sorry guys.

Idle question

I noticed when I first start the car the car idles at 2k after a minute of driving it drops to 1k and sometimes goes lower. Just wondering if the idle speed is where it is suppose to be or not. I bring the car in monday to the dealership to have them finish the top replacment, get a inspection sticker, and fix the radio. But is this something I should have them look at also.

a-ok. the engine needs warmup time. it drops down to its normal 1000rpm idle rate when the engine is at 3 bars of temp.

If it makes a "PSSSHHHHHH" sound after it warms up, you got a free turbo...

uh... air pump.

are you talking about the stall? like when you jam it in reverse and the idle will take a dive and the motor shakes for a split second and jump back up?

in that case you need to have the intake manifold, throttle body clean. if it still doesnt get rid of it, use honda top engine cleaner for the cylinder

let it warm up before you drive it. let the car learn the idle.
