timing belt tension

Default timing belt tension

to loosen my timing belt after i loosen the tensioner bolt do i turn the crank pully clockwise or counterclockwise

Counter-clockwise tightens it so clockwise will
loosen..

Be really careful if the engine is in the car..
Too loose and it might jump..
