Default How far can you safely hsave a head on a D16A6, head is in shop, NEED TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My car:1990 Ciivc hatch DX
My motor in car now:D15B2
What I know: I had the head on my D15 shaved .028" off.I heard you could get .030" shaved off.
but I wanted to play safe. It has run fine ever since.

What Im doing: Dropping a D16A6 in.

What I need to know:Since the bore is the same on the D15B2, and the D16A6, and the only thing that make the difference is the stroke.(valve clearnce is the same also) HOW FAR HAVE YOU GUYS GONE ON MILLING THE HEAD ON A D16A6??
.015",.020",.025", OR CAN I GET AWAY WITH HAVING THEM SHAVE .028" OFF LIKE MY D15B2 HEAD???

Please no flaming, I truly need to know(and yes I know I should have done my home work and check the clearnce before putting it the shop.Im a D.A. )
Thanks guys, and I promise I will change the oil in every one's car who can help

just dont raise the compression too much.
i like to use 10w-30 dont overfill it
haha i think as long as u keep the compression under say 10 u shouldnt have interference. any other opinions? im just guessin at that number

if your D15 head is in real good shape still i'd just use that on the a6 considering its already milled, just put the a6 cam in it and a6 manifolds and your good to go, no sense paying for the same thing twice, just keep the old a6 head as a spare
