O2 sensor issue
i have a b16a and it has 2 O2 sensors if i am not mistaken, is there any way to use a b series header where the O2 sensor is by the catalytic converter and just reroute one of them? any suggestions would be great!!!
i have a b16 obd0 with the 2 02s, i have a hytech header, i am running one in the header and the other one in the test pipe. the car bucks at a steady rpm, i used to have the hasport header and it had the 02s where they belonged. car ran beautiful. so either deal with a small buck at steady rpm, or get a program with one of the o2s deleted or go obd1. hope this helps.
Sure, You have to have one before the cat and one after. The one before is for fuel ratio and the second is for the cat efficiency monitor.
so if i buy headers that have a hole for an O2 sensor where what would be considered the downpipe, but non where they are on the stock mani, how would i reroute them down? would i have one go into my cat, and then one in the hole on the header...? plus after that how would i extend them to get down there?
they should be single wire o2s, i have one in the hole on the header and one in my test pipe, on a stock obd0 header they are before the cat, they are up where, what is it, 1&3 and 2$ come together, but me and a friend of mine looked at the rsr header offered in japan for the obd0 b16 and they put them one in number 3 and one in number 4. hope this helps. either delete one with an ecu program or put them in 3 and 4 up by the head or where they came stock on the exhaust manifold.
