Suspension..... What would you do??
guys want to lower my S what would you use? i know full coilovers sys. are the right way to go, but they are kinda pricy and on top of that my car is definely not going to see a track or any competion ever, but i would like to either keep or improve the handeling of stock for pure street sptireted driving so what would you sugest??? opinions? is it still worth for me to spend the extra cash on full coilovers>>>? thaks alot for the help

Everybody answered your question so .. no need to remention it.
But I'd like to add.
Don't worry about full coilovers. They are definitely NOT the way to go if you are not doing any form of competetive driving with a car.
Reason being, most of the time they are provided as "OFFROAD USE ONLY", so if you have problems with them, such as blown shocks, you will have to pay for the repair on them since there is no express or implied warranty (unless it's a manufacturer defect).
Koni's on the other hand, they come with a lifetime warranty on their shocks, so it's perfect for a daily driven car, that's going to go through alot of bumps and potholes and road imperfections..
things that coilovers such as "Kazama" (for example) are not designed for.
Don't get me wrong, people do daily drive on coilovers and don't have any problems with them.
But, in the case that you do have a problem with them, you're out of luck, since most manufacturers design them specifically for circuit use (depending on the coilover system)
But I'd like to add.

well, for me i expect my race part last longer than normal stuff.
for your information i use to run apexi coilover on my daily, stiff ride but hell i love it.
do watch out, most shocks will have a catch for their warranty, agx for example will void your warranty if it's lower more than 1.5 inch, street or not.
If i were you, just get some spring with slightly firmer rate, koni yellow and GC is WAY overkill.(sleeve over+ adjustable shocks+top hat/pillow mount=fill coil
)

maybe 2 o3 hundred cheaper

The Koni/GC's are cheap compared to any half decent coilover. Most are 1500+. While the ones I would get for street/track use cost over 3k.
If you only get springs now, your shocks will wear out much quicker. We've seen this plenty of times. So later down the road you will be spending money for shocks. You're better off taking care of both now and getting a combo that works well.

if your buying coilovers for around 900$, their not going to be amazing.
average coilovers for the s2000 are around 2g's.

Race parts generally do not last longer than normal OEM stuff.
It depends on the part and depends on the company.
KYB AGX and Tokico Illumina, shocks like these are "street performance" shocks. They can be used on the street safely and reliably (with better capabilities and longevity than factory shocks of course).
But they are not race parts.
Things like Heim joints are race parts. And no, they will not last longer than your oem parts.
For example,
if you buy a heim joint tie rod end to replace your oem rubber bushing tie rod end, and try to use it on the street, it will not last as long as your oem tie rod end.
That's because, there's no give, and no flex in the spherical bearing heim joint. If you ride on those on the street, they will wear down faster than your stock tie rod end will over time.
That's because all of those speed bumps, bumpy roads, dips will wear down the bearing. There is alot more vibration being transmitted from regular street road to your suspension parts, compared to a smooth circuit/track road.
If you put race parts such as heim joints through the stress and vibration of the normal daily driving, over time the joint will have play (useless).
Certain parts shouldn't be used on the street, or should be used on the street at a minimum.
