Default the Finest accord. EVER.

Dont even argue. I walked out to my neglected 89 Accord LXi coupe today in the school parking lot, and after 6 weeks of being dormant in the chilly wisconsin climate, the bastard started. Without any hesisitation. With the miliage that it has, I was thinking that every time I turned the key, it was a roll of the dice, like my brothers Audi 4000 beater. Not so. This thing has yet to let me down.

I'd have to say that's the most reliable car I've owned. I had an 87 LXi with 180K miles on it when I sold it. Cousin still drives it.

Amen, brotha! My thoughts exactly

Hell after 288,000 mine still has yet to let me down or fail to start (and I'm in Illinois, too). The last 3000 of that has been put on in the last 3 weeks, lol (too many trips to Chicago). No rebuilds and very few replaced parts. It even started right up without hesitation after sitting dormant for 4 months after it was wrecked.

Way to go Honda

How do you leave a car in a school parking lot for 6 weeks? Don't you live somewhere? Oh I guess you're in a dorm or something.

When I bought my EG, I had the chance to buy an 86 Lx with 220,000 miles on it for $600. I didn't take the guy up on the offer, but I wish I did. He's still driving the thing around town with no problems, and the EG is dead and gone

No need for it. I had my 94 Accord and I rode my bike everywhere. When my 94 Accord decieded to be a **** and break, and when I broke the rim on my bike, I needed to resort to the 89 Accord. Thank God.

6 weeks not 6 months homeslice. Yeah, Im staged in a dorm here. The school doesnt care because I have a residence hall parking pass on the 89. The 94 I keep in a storage unit not too far away. I would NEVER leave my 94 outside overnight here at school. No f-cking way. The 89 is my college/winter beater.
