ANOTHER cam choice FUBAR
ok, so ive been wasting so much time on getting my car back together (2 years) and im finally ready to finish it. ive got everything available and ready to bolt together, and drop in, but i cannot keep up with all the new stuff coming out with cams and what choice to make for optimal power.
first off, my setup...:
to me, these are the parts that are going to make the most difference with cam choice, everything else is just minor.
your run of the mil ls/vtec w/CTR bullets .25 os
b16 head, pocket port, skunk2 springs/retainers/itr valves
twm 52mm ITB's
now...with this setup, i really do not know what will be good for it. my big plan is to bump the injector size so that i can run e85, save money AND make more power. but this is my first time ever with ITB's, and there has always been some confusion as to the C/R and burn pattern with CTR slugs. does anyone have ANY similar experience with this situation, and can you shine some light on what cams will work with this? im so far behind the game right now its not even funny, and i really want to get my car running because i truly miss driving it. thanks everybody for the help and time.

see thats what i heard too, but there is a kid here in a stock wrx that has been running e85 for over 2 years, and hasnt had any problems with fuel line corrosion or anything.
