'92 Accord auto trans prob - stuck in 3rd/4th gear
My '92 accord has an auto tranny problem. It gets stuck in gear - either 3rd or 4th.
If it's stuck in 4th gear I can only shift down to 2nd by sliding the lever to position '1' or '2'. (D3 and D4 yield the 4th gear only)
If it's stuck in 3rd gear I can only shift down to 1st gear by sliding the lever to positoin '1' or '2'. (D3 and D4 yield the 3rd gear only)
It used to only happen when it was warm out, but now it's been cool out and the car's been stuck in 4th gear for five days straight. What do I need to do to fix it?
