Default Wacky TPS

I have a quick question....my car idles horrible after warming up....shoots down then up then down every 30 to 40 seconds.....Could this be my TPS?....After I unhook the plug from the sensor the car idles PERFECT..... IS IT OK TO RUN WITHOUT IT CONNECT OR WILL THIS HURT THE MOTOR?

i had a friend who had the same exact problem, when the tps was plugged in you got jumpy idel and wouldnt never just idel at a certain rpm, unplugged it and it would idel steady

he drive the car like that, im not saying its a perfect fix, but it is stopping whatever problem is occuring
