Default Distributor housing or the whole thing?

I recently discovered an oil leakage into my distributor. For a while now, the idle has been very out of it, weak and misfires a lot. I'm hoping that replacing the distributor will solve the problem, as I've tried so much else to fix the problem.

Is it a good idea to just get the distributor housing, and take the ignitor and coil out of the old one? Or would those components likely be damaged and I would need to get a whol new distributor?

Also, has anyone ever bought from the "distributor King" on Ebay? Is this a reputable place to get a new one? They seem to have good feedback and hype.

I would just replace the whole thing. The ignitor and the coil tend to fail on their own after a while anyway, so new ones won't hurt.

Distributor King is reputable and their distributors are good. I know a lot of people running them or using them as spares. Here is the direct link to their site:

Buying a new coil and ignitor almost costs as much as a brand new dizzy. to Distributor King. Purchased from them a few months ago for my 95 EG...zero problems!
