1989 honda accord isn't getting fuel, tricky situation, please help
Hey, me and me dad have not been able to get fuel to my car "all the time". Some times we can turn the car on and fuel comes out the line, sometimes it doesn't. I can hear the relay kick on along with the fuel pump, and at these times the car runs. If it does run, it will run with good timing until it starts cutting out and dies. My dad shook some wires around the rack and it seemed to fix the problem for a sec, but after a little bit the car started starving for gas. What do I need to check in the hood or in the relay box? Thanks eveyone.
Huh thats pretty interesting. Are you sure thats the wires or its just a coincidence? has the fuel filter been replaced? It might be clogged up and not letting the fuel get into the lines. I would replace that first, its not that expencive.

Are you testing for fuel flow at the time the engine stalls/dies? Are you testing for spark at those times? Sometimes electrical problems cause stalling. And these fuel injection engines have sensors that go out and cause stalling. Going to have to troubleshoot. Some others will give you more help with the Honda diagnostic codes.
