Default Red Line oils...

What are the benefits from using a slightly heavier mtl in the tranny? I have just purchased MT-90 (70W-90) by Red Line. It is slightly thicker than the OEM or OEM replacement fluid(70W-80). Is this better? Worse? I have been led to believe that the MT-90 is slightly better than the regular MTL? Your thoughts?

its not really much thicker at all, it would be like putting 10w30 in a car that takes 5w30. gear oil ratings are different than motor oil ratings the #'s dont mean the same things
