Default AEM 1040, Neptune, Or Hondata s300

Ive searched around a bit. maybe im blind, but i dont think there has been any comparison of the above three.

Im building a turbo b18c1 crx with a current whp goal of 450, and shortly after 600whp. My build is fine, and im extremely confident my mechanical side of it is squared away. My only concern now is engine management.... what to choose. They all seem like viable competitors, and have heard good about all 3. To me, it doesnt matter wether i can tune it or not. I can learn if need be (have a good understanding already, just have to get used to the program itself) or can take it to Evans....

Simply on a tunability, performance based opinion, what would you guys suggest? Thanks again i really appreciate it, and am glad to be part of such a helpful forum.

The current neptune can only be tuned by an authorized neptune dealer.
GOOD AEM tuners are hard to find.
Crome is cost effective & works well.

My advise, find the best local tuner you can & use the system he feels will be best for your application.

There is a local shop (f1 dyno) that has an in-house tuner, but I believe i will be making the 21hr round trip to see Jeff Evans. Ive seen his numbers, ive seen the dynos, and most importantly, spoke with previous customers of his. Ive never heard anything negative, and seems like quality work, at a reasonable price... 600$ for neptune and tuning isnt bad at all in my book.

But on the other hand... anyone know of any quality tuners closer to Maine?
