Remember me--misshifted my R the other day....?
Anyway, I took it to Metro Acura in Montclair and they told me that the clutch was fucked up. They said that the noise the car makes when the clutch was depressed was the "throw-out" bearing and other than the fucked up clutch, synchros, and the tranny is running a little bit rough, the car is fine (as far as the internals of the motor goes).
Best of all, they're going to cover it all under the factory warranty (whew). BTW they gave me a 2001 Silver Ford Escort as a loaner car, woohoo!
Waited 2 years for her, had her for a week, now she's gone...

Acura didn't have any of their loaner vehicles available, I had to get it through HERTZ, I'm going to swap for an Acura as soon as one of theirs come back. I'll probably get an Automatic LS though, got one last time...

I've been getting my car serviced at Metro Acura for the past 3 years and I give them a big . The assistant service manager, Andy Dobler, is by far the best person I have ever dealt with. Very friendly atmosphere and they always bend over backwards to meet your needs. Everytime you get something done there you get a phone call a few days later asking how you thought the service was. This type of service is unheard of at most dealers.
Anyone thinking about getting their car serviced, please consider Metro Acura, and talk to Andy, he's a great guy.

Whoa--Andy Dobler totally convinced me that they're a kick *** place to do business with. He's handling my car right now.
I took my GS-R there last year for a radiator fix and they were excellent, I was sick and tired of Acura of Riverside (where I usually go) so I went to Metro instead.
I'm glad somebody gives Metro a KUDOS, from what I've seen/dealt with they're amazing too.
Andy sure did like my R, he had a big grin on his face when he got in it
Word of advice for those in the SO CAL area: Do not take your R to the Acura of Riverside. They are incompetant, unprofessional, and treat their customers like ****. Worst of all, they perform half-*** jobs on cars and they **** up customers' cars and deny it. I hate them.

do you think they will give RSX-S as a loaner car? or you dont have much of a choice? are people that lucky and get good loaner cars? my dad got a nice lil rx300 from the lexus dealer once... it was nice... hope acura would give something better...

Whatever you do don't go to Hoehn Acura in So. Cal. - Carlsbad to be exact - treat you with no respect

The guys at Metro Honda are awesome! Everyone there is very nice and cordial. Salesman Anthony Armijo is so cool. If you wanna S2000, ask for him. I couldn't have gotten mine without him.
