Hey My 92 civic HB is already turbo charged so i thought get a little something to make it look good. What are your opions on lambo doors? Do you think they will look good on a 92 civic HB? I will be putting them on this weekend just want to know what people think....

in my opinion they are hard to get in and out of....also it dosent work with hondas.(visually)

in some pics it looks harder to get into the car. i think its a bit over the top but its your car so do what you like.

You might get better answers in the appearance/cosmetic section of this site, that's what it's there for, you know? However, you might want to put your flame-suit on becuase it might get a little hot in here.
Honda-tech is pretty much a band-wagon site, and since JDM is in, they will hate you for going the "rice" style. Your car, ***** what others think.

 

I know that, I dont want to go rice style haha but i do have turbo setup and huge fmic so i guess doesnt look to rice im just trying to get sponsored plus been saving for my other motor im building right now so just little money on looks to have something new while i wait for my new motor setup

 

Why not ditch the idea of Gay-Bo doors and put that money toward the new motor. Every little bit helps.

 

yea i know but im getting really good deal from my friend thats why 350 for the lambo doors thats the only reason why im getting them just trying see what people think about them, i dont want to look rice thats one thing i hate a honda thats really loud and gauges etc and its NA or the same but its auto matic but thanks for the input

 

if you are getting them for so cheap why not turn around and sell them for more, and put it towards the built motor?

 

lambo doors are rice, they serve no purpose and your car doesn't handle better or go faster. so i guess you'll hate your own car after this weekend? maybe think about getting a flux capacitor to go with them?

Do people really think there rice? whats so bad about them? and no i font need that haha i do all the work on my own car motor suspension turbo everything well ill try out the doors and try get some pics this week to see what you think...my goal right now is to get sponsored cause i will be going with couple friends and there cars to import show for memorial weekend so hopefully i can try get sponsored..

 

do you have a loud exhaust? unless you have a motor swap or turbo which is not in your mod list then i guess that would make your car rice? wouldnt it?

 

i think we already told you our opinions on lambo doors on civics. i doubt it will change after seeing yours. i'm no saying you shouldn't do it. but i wouldn't myself. just wear a chin guard for the first little while, you'll prolly forget there, there and POW right in the chin. whos sponsering you anyway? uncle bens?

 

donnn't put lambo doors.... they're ultra hard to get in and out i had been in one couple times also hit my head couple times... they ain't good....

 

post some pics of your car... maybe you can pull it off.. lets see the whole thing, interior, exterior and engine bay(just hope your not bullshitting)

my friend has lambo doors on one of his cavaliers (he has 2 of them), we had to go to walmart and got out of the car and somebody asked us: "What kind of car is that?" We said, "Lamborghini" and she said "very nice and expensive" We were like "yup" lol... His car is very well done, and really sets it off if you are all show (at least on the outside-given you are FI) People actually go up to you and ask you questions, and you sure get more girls.

Lambo doors are for show.... as long as your door can open up normally for regular use, and lambo for show pics... then go ahead and do it..

if its just a dd then... i guess not much point in em...

 

do it dude. i would love to see you pull up in your civic bumpin some music, with your streetglow looking like a crazy *** light show is going on, with a crazy bodykit just for the sole fact that i will get a slight chuckle and amusement. please for the sake of all of us on here at h-t to get a good laugh. i tip my hat to you sir.
