FS: 1996 Honda Accord F22B1 Complete Engine Swap - SOHC VTEC
Great condition USDM F22B1 -- GAURANTEED perfect, don't risk it with a JDM swap; this motor is perfect!!
Facts at a glance:
• Perfectly running USDM F22B1 SOHC VTEC Motor
• 5spd Transmission with no grinds & Clutch both still attached
• Stock OBD2 ECU included
• Mobil1 Full Synthetic Oil and Filter always used
• Burns ZERO oil
• No leaks at all, excellent gas mileage
• Paperwork showing regular maintenance
• Wiring harness not included
Condition:
The car ran and drove better than just about any other accord I've ever been in – truly! Compared to my personal daily driver accord, this motor swap is a night and day difference as far as smoothness in idle and city-driving acceleration goes. ALL routine maintenance was performed on this motor by the Honda dealer and will come complete with paperwork documenting this fact, it was meticulously cared for! The transmission, too, is perfectly functional with no grinds what-so-ever . Both are also very clean. Clutch is still holding perfectly, too.
Reason for Sale :
The motor was pulled in running condition on the account of a more powerful motor swap going in. I can assure you, though, that this motor was NOT beaten on AT ALL before the pull. I cannot stress how solid this motor is!!
Notes:
The motor will not come with the wiring harness, however, and will need a new Throttle Position Sensor – I can include a new TPS with the sale if requested, otherwise they are 50 cents from the junkyard. It will come with a brand new in box front mount and the stock OBD2 ECU. It comes with a good condition JDM H22A clutch installed and the stock F22B1 pressure plate is also included. Also, this motor was available for sale previously but upon completion the sale could not be completed -- this is a relisting.
Shipping:
You are welcome to come pick the motor up from me, otherwise I will charge the actual shipping as calculated by Fedex Freight or Greyhound Express, it's your choice. Plan on it being around 180$, though.
Otherwise, though, the swap is in my garage in Kalamazoo, MI and is available for local pickup (preferred).
