Motor code question... curious

My friend has an F22B DOHC. What car is this motor from. I thought F-series were only SOHC.

they are only sohc...i think your friend is a little confused!

No no. I read the code on the block. I'll get a pic for you. It says F22B and it IS a DOHC non-VTEC.

there is a dohc f22 from the jdm prelude si and accord sir to my knowledge. i've seen pics on accord club as well if you want a pic confirmation.

That's one of the older JDM Accord motors. DOHC non VTEC F22. I don't think it was from a performance car like the SiR though.
I had an opportunity to buy one, but F-that, H22 baby!

I've seen the F20B on Accord Club, but I can't find the F22B
