Im thinking of doing a black roof (pillars, top, and mirrors) on my dc2, just looking for opinions. I think I'll do it like this blue dc2, with the same cutoff line, what do u think?
Also, any suggestions on which black paint i should use to match the Paradise Blue-Green pearl (bg33p)? i want it to be pearl as well.

i say go for it. i personally dont really like the black roof look but whatever.

and how about flamenco black. and a carbon hood should go great with that.

oh and, you are going to paint the bumpers to paradise green/blue right?

 

Yea I want to set it apart from just another green integra, the bumpers will be green and yea I have my CF hood waiting in the basement

im not actually sure about the FBP pearl color, i just suggested it because it was a honda color

i personally like black top cars.. not for me but it looks coo

Any ideas on what paint/pearl to use to match bg33p? I dont want to use a Gold pearl or something cause the pearl in my existing paint isnt gold...

 

IMO go japan conversion before i don't like the lines of the US hood. but it's your car

If you like the idea of a black roof, then go for it.

 

teal is the $hit. leave it all teal. i wish my integra was teal stupid white.

 

Black top only looks good if you do the JDM conversion..

 

It seems you are bored with the color of the car...I would suggest you paint the whole car a whole different color. The black roof and all that does not look that good too me.

 

Yea if my car was black Id go a diff color but I dont want the trouble of repainting the door jams and engine bay etc. Not gonna rock the green bay on a white car . I like the teal...not too too many teal dc2's around.

I think Im gonna do the black roof, I just need to pick a color/code for it.

The Flake in FBP is goldish, and the flake in NHBP is blueish green i think.

 

Damn man I was thinking about doing the same thing to my SSBP GSR... I just got the LS trunk with thirdbrake light, ITR wing and new hood that were all Black. I must say it looks pretty sick. I wanted to follow the crease on the side though and basically cut the car in half with black on top and SSBP on the Bottom and then Black again on the OEM sides, rear and front lip and possibly with some high gloss black rims... just an idea. Im def leaning towards it. anyone know someboday thats good at photochopping???

 

 

I'm not a big fan of black pillars, if you end up getting a carbon hood and hatch you should do a carbon roof to match. Here is JDMDan's

So Nighthawk Black pearl has a blueish/green pearl? I may go for that then..

Also I dont have a CF hatch and am not getting one i just have CF hood, I think black between just the gutters only looks best with cf hood/hatch....?
