I'm nervous, going home for a week and leaving my bike here
with a friend. Well in a friend's garage space that she rents out. Definetely feel better knowing it's not gonna be in a parking lot unattended. had to leave the keys with my friend though in case they have to move it before I get back. Not worried about anyone joy riding though since she has an r6 and isn't at all interested in riding my beast
I do get to look forward to having gixxer1000 6-pot brakes waiting for me when I get back to slap on the superchicken. no more shitty brakes!!!
and soon after rebuilt front forks with racetech springs and hopefully not long after a fox twin clicker from marmaladeboy!

eh. I just don't like leaving my baby alone
and the brakes are a direct bolt on to the superhawk front forks (the 00-02 gixxer1000 calipers only) my brakes lines, and everything I have right now work with them. several other calipers work easily too like the rc51 and f4i calipers. rc51 calipers require slight grinding to fit and I believe the f4i's are direct bolt on. Sad that the f4i has better brakes then the superhawk
I'll probably eventually move to an rc51 MC later on this summer which has a larger piston then the stock superhawk one
