Is a P72 okay on my D16Z6?
Well, I had fun with a Spoon chipped P30 today, then came across a stock OBD1 P72. I like having the extra RPM's. My motor is a D16Z6 with full pnp, 3-angle valve job, and Skunk2 valve train. I haven't ventured any higher than 8,000rpm, and probably won't. I was hitting rev limiter at like 7,500rpm, while I was still making power. My question is, is it ok to run the P72 on my D16Z6? I know the rev limiter and top speed limiter are different, and of course VTEC engagement. Where is the VTEC engagement on the P72/B18C1? Where is the rev limiter? Thanks in advance...
As far as changing the VTEC crossover and such, I was thinking of picking up a V-AFC and having my car tuned. Hondata and other programs would be nice, but I'm building on a budget, what do you think?

No, it's not ok at all. They are not even for the same family of motors. What you need to do it get the proper ecu for your car or get a chipped ecu with a crome tune.
A p72 is not going to be even close to optimum for your setup.
