Default Hard Water spots (how to remove?)

I just started washing my car in a certain area. I notice that the water is "hard." Meaning, it leaves water spots in some areas. I know I can simply wipe off the spots with a the Absorber but is there a more convenient way?

I was thinking possibly of using the Meguiar's touch up spray wax. What are you guys using?

Mix vinegar & water in a 50/50 solution and use it like you would any "final detailer" spray. Takes the water spots right off, and much cheaper than going out and buying a clay bar (just because I know somebody is going to mention a clay bar )

Once it is dry the smell is gone. I mean really, isn't there something else to worry about, like theft or vandalism.

Hard water is a result of the water supply. The only thing you can do is to wipe your car dry ASAP. If you got hard water, do you have a water softener for your home? Depending on how it's connected, some filters water to the faucet too.
