i currently have a apexi ws2 on my car and its a little toooo quiet i know the canister is what makes it quiet but also the piping has a lot to do with it to so i was just wondering would it be to loud to just buy a differnt tip like a N1 or maybe even a ebay one and just weld it to my ws2 piping would it still be quietER...

i know the ebay mufflers are loud and annoying but wouldn't it be quieter with my ws2 piping ..its just something i was thinking about because it just want a little more noise and it feels like the ws2 canister restrits some power

 

The noise reduction comes from the can as well resonator, and some say that the cat has something to do with sound as well. The WS was originally a sports exhaust designed for the street, hence the decibel level is tuned to be a low pleasing tone not deafening anyone. The N1 is a race exhaust. It flows better, and in turn its louder. With the silencer out, I dont think the N1 or any other ebay brands would matter soundwise.

so you think it wouldn't be unannoying loud buying like lets say a ebay brand muffler (not a huge tip..but something subtle)?
