I am performing the Valve Stem adjustment for a 2004 VTX 1300 Retro...

I am using the manual as a step by step guide on doing the procedures. I have everything off my bike and I have the feelers that I need.

I have the adjusting screws open and in clear view, but as far as placing the feeler gauges under the adjusting screw, whats next? With adjusting and what not? Too tight or too loose?

Just need some guidence and help!!
