need directions on taking out speakers and CD player
my car was totalled last week and I want to take out the speakers and CD player I had in it and I dont know how. It's a 95 Civic EX Coupe and I have speakers in the doors (not the little ones) and the back that I want to take out and possibly put into my new car, a 2002 Civic LX Coupe. I also have a CD player in the 95 that I want to take out. I think the speakers are Pioneer's and the CD player is a Awui (I probably spelled that totally wrong, plus I'm not 100% sure that's what it is). The speakers are just standard size, the same as stock. I tried to get Best Buy to do it for me but they won't do anything after 6 and I work full time so I can't take it in before then. Could someone please give me some simple instructions on how to remove the speakers and CD player? Do you guys think I will be able to do it myself? I have a little experience working on the car but not a lot. Thank you so much!!!
95 Civics are the easiest cars to work on when installing/removing stereos. Here's .pdf file:

For speaker removal on the front door, pull on the bottom of the grill, it should pop right out. Then use a Philips screwdriver to unscrew the 3 screws holding the speaker in place.
Rear speaker removal is not as easy. You'll need open the trunk and lay down inside and unscrew (can't remember if you need a screwdriver or a socket) the grill from the bottom. Then remove the grill and unscrew the screws holding the speaker. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, since it's been awhile since I did a rear speaker removal/install on a coupe, and the times I did those I was merely helping out my brother.

As an installer at Best Buy, I always quote longer than I know it will take just in case there are problems... Why? Because it's alot better to finish early than to take longer than you said and have a pissed off customer.
