Maintenance Required Light??
My "Maintenance Required" light thing in my 97 accord went to yellow and then a week later went to red. I dont know what it means. Is it a big problem like . . . one of my brakes is broken or is it a little thing like changing my oil-kind-of-problems (maybe brake pads?) I'm not quite sure how that lil "light" thing works or what things it can sense can be wrong. Can someone help me out?

I believe this is things like overdue oil change its on a timer, correct me if Im wrong please...there is like a slot next to the speedometer that is like a vertical bar, put your key in there to reset the light once you've checked everything over and made sure its ok
F22 lx is correct I believe it goes to red every 7500 miles which is the service intervals that honda reccomends.
If you go to the dealer to do the services they reset it but you can reset it whenever you want with a key.

o alright, i did know how to reset it but i didnt really wanna until i knew what it meant, haha. So its the persons job who changes the oil to reset? ........ (and that Maintenance light only refers to oil changes right?? nothing else?)
Your car is trying to tell you to do the required maintenance on it. It is set to come on every 7500 miles. The owner's manual will say how to re-set it. If you don't have an owner's manual, you should get one. Maintenance, pay a little now, or a lot later.
