Default DIY: 91 to 97 PCV valve conversion.

Here is the scenerio: You have a stock engine in a,let's say 90 Civic Hatch with a D15.While changing the PCV valve, your F'n hose ripps.Well maybe you cut it off. I did. I have an anger management issue. Anyway. Most auto parts stores don't sell that hose or they have to order it. If you want a solution here you go: Purchase one from a 97 Civic w/ a D-series motor. NAPA # 2-9347.While your at it pick-up a new grommet as well. Beck Arnley # 039-6510. You might have to wait on the grommet but, you have to change it. Next you need, Weatherhead #3500x4 elbow,3400x4 street elbow,3328x4 pipe nipple, and 05706b-104 1/4 pipe to 3/4 hose connector. As well as 1ft of 3/8 fuel hose and 2 clamps.
Assembley is as follows. 3500x4 into 3400x4 tightly. The connector and the nipple on either end of this. This should look like a brass U. Clamp the hose and PCV valve together and install into the black box on the engine. Run the hose up and through the manifold. Screw the nipple into the manifold, where the old PCV used to go. Tighten and check for clearance. Make any adjustments you need so, the new fuel line doesn't ride too close to the manifold. Atatch the fuel line to the connector and clamp tight.
Hopefully, if I wrote this right, you should never have to worry about replacing you PCV hose. Just buy more fuel line. So, far it's worked for myself. Been runnin' 3,000 miles on it . Write me if you need help.

Or you can just buy like 2 feet of universal pcv hosing and replace it. Or you can go to honda, pay around 20$ and get a new one...or go to a junkyard and find a new one.

I personally wouldn't convert a pcv system. Waste of time for what it does.

More options mean less waiting. Personnaly. I haven't sold any universal PCV hose. If there is, NAPA doesn't sell it. On top of that. It's difficult to get hose to conform to the 180 bend that alot of the old hoses had. So, I opted to build something that I'd never have to worry about again. Or, strain my resources to find. I would have preffered to use OEM but, getting it to West Palm, takes 7-10 bussiness days. Something I couldn't afford to wait on. Honestly, OEM looks alot better as well. My set up looks kind of tacky but, it works.

Funny thing. I had debated myself for several weeks before I decided to do this. I mean, whats the point if I just decide to swap the motor out? Oh well. It didn't cost that much.
