Default Back from Japan!!! (warning lots of pics!!) (long)

yep i am back and i already miss it i guess that makes me an official jdm *****

it was too much fun and not enough time. big ups to dave for being such a gracious host and showing me around to all the cool spots. and to all those that say that you can't make B's run smoothly on the street on high CR his car is a testiment of that. at stoplight it completely feels like a normal b motor, and even on low rpm/driving around the cramp streets of japan. one bad thing about out there, traffic is horrible. even on weekends, made a 40km trip turn into about 2 hrs of driving

first stop on sat was spoon. got to meet the man himself, Yuki-san:

must have caught me blinking or something, do i look goofy or what?? btw he is a hella cool guy. he even gave me this lil gift for stopping by:

from a 500k endurance race, took 3rd. trophy was too big for me to carry so it's being mailed back

their DC5. notice the rims, those are 388s in 17s didnt get to ask if those were in production or not tho.

for those of u that think spoon is backordered on headers, think again:

and in the back room i counted 8 exhaust manifold boxes

next stop was feels/honda twincam. i just love these lil things:

honda needs to introduce those to the US market stuff is up there in price, but its all very high quality chit, even some parts i'd say would rival or even better spoon stuff. picked up the only MC brace they had in stock, that thing is BEEFY!! pics later

rest of the day was spent scronging up used parts, etc. i think i found my new suspension setup:

wish i had more time to come up with more chit

sunday we went to super autobacs to baseline a few of his friend's cars. digicam battery crapped out on me that day so i was left with the cami. mpg's to come once i figure out how to convert it. ohh but i did get in one shot just before it crapped out:

BTW new site is being worked on over the weekend, everything u see plus all the stuff i ordered while up there will be up on site by monday......I HOPE!!

LOL. Goofy pic with Mr.Sp00m. Glad to hear your back and had a blast. On a sad note...those spoon headers make me want to cry...

B2 - who notices that Yuki-san is holding a credit card? Is that yours Leo?
"here's my credit card" *hordes spoon items*

Hey, did customs at Japan or the US give you trouble about bringing all those parts to the US. I wanted to do that once, but was afraid that I could not bring the parts back. Please let me know, thanks.

did someone say more pics

5zigen's new twin mode clutch system. this COMPLETELY eliminates pushing of the clutch pedal, so now all you do is push a button for upshift or downshift. i can imagine lots of drag racers are gonna drool over this one BTW this system is MAJOR bank.

haha u guys will like this one:

the last remaining DC2 cluster left, DISPLAY ONLY

and finally....a pic of dave's monster EF inside type one:
